The state of Pennsylvania has been making great achievements in its energy efficiency goals, growing clean energy jobs at an impressive rate. The state- and in particular the cities of Pittsburgh and Philadelphia- have high energy burdens and older housing stock that pose unique problems and hurdles, but also make energy efficiency work all the more important. In this session you’ll learn of the innovative approaches being undertaken in Pittsburgh and Philadelphia to reduce energy use in homes, decrease costs, and improve occupant health. Learn about the partnerships between medical science, health, and building science in the two cities and how using technology in Philadelphia is increasing customer engagement and relieving administrative costs. Hear how our conference host state is innovating-- and winning (and not just in professional sports!).
