Utility, Federal, State, Local programs have trouble figuring out what to do with Multifamily buildings; are they Commercial, or residential? We know the answer is both. Some owners are smart enough to take advantage of the residential programs for tenants and use the commercial programs for central systems and DSM. The best of all worlds would be programs AIMED FOR MULTIFAMILY. Two seasoned practioners will tell war stories with a goal to help design better multifamily programs.
