Join this session to explore the benefits that thermal imaging can bring to an energy efficiency upgrade. Learn the basics and build on your existing knowledge to gain a better understanding of how thermal imaging works. Patterns consistent with air leakage, moisture problems, and insulation flaws will be discussed with an opportunity to see and interpret common anomalies found in the field.

WECC (Wisconsin Energy Conservation Corporation)

Cory Chovanec, Building Science Specialist, is a hands-on energy professional with more than 20 years of experience in various facets of residential building performance. In addition to developing and delivering a number of WECC’s building science training courses, he also performs in-field quality assurance inspections. He distills technical information and client requirements to crews and sub-contractors to ensure quality work and effective collaboration. Cory has acquired multiple certifications from the Building Performance Institute and is a BPI proctor for field and online exams. Additionally, he participated in the development of WECC’s first IREC-accredited training program.
