Dr Gogas is Instructor of Medicine in the Division of Cardiology/Interventional Cardiology of Emory University School of Medicine. His main research interest focuses on the mechanobiologic profiling of arteries treated with newer genration drug-eluting stents and novel bioresorbable scaffolds as well as the investigation of targeted biologic treatments to reduce the rates of late stent failure attributed to in-stent neoatheroscelrosis. He has performed a series of studies in this area and has conducted many clinical trials. His h-index is 20 and has acquired over 1000 citations for his published work.
