Dr. Chris Nielsen is an Associate Professor of Medicine in the Division of Cardiology at the Medical University of South Carolina. He is the Director of the Adult Cardiac Cath Labs. His clinical and research interests are alcohol septal ablation for HOCM, percutaneous PFO and ASD closure, left atrial appendage occlusion, complex coronary intervention, and STEMI intervention.

Dr. Khaled Ziada is a Professor of Medicine and an Endowed Gill Foundation Professor of Interventional Cardiology at the Gill Heart Institute of the University of Kentucky. He serves as the enterprise medical director of interventional services and director of the cardiovascular interventional fellowship program. He has been practicing interventional cardiology and peripheral endovascular therapeutics for more than 12 years. His research interests include revascularization techniques, antiplatelet therapy, and clinical outcomes. He has intense interest in quality assurance and improvement of coronary interventions, with particular emphasis on regional practices and outcomes of primary PCI. He is the principal investigator of the ACCELERATOR regional system of care for STEMI in central and eastern KY, a grant offered by the AHA in collaboration with the Duke Clinical Research Institute. He also directs the clinical research program of the Gill Heart Insitute and as such is the local principal investigator of many national and international trials.

Dr. Ali E. Denktas is an Associate Professor of Medicine at the Baylor College of Medicine and the Director of Cardiac Catheterization Laboratories at the Michael E. DeBakey VA Medical Center. His main clinical interests are Chronic Total Occlusions, TAVR and structural heart disease procedures. His main research interests are the imrpovement of STEMI care, stem cell therapies for STEMI patients and hypertrophic cardiomyopathy interventions.

Andrew J. Klein, MD, FACC, FSCAI is an adult interventional cardiologist with specialty training in endovascular and vascular medicine. Dr. Klein recently relocated to Atlanta to join Piedmont Heart Institute from St. Louis where he was the director of the endovascular services and of cardiovascular research at the John Cochran VA Medical Center. Dr. Klein is boarded in 5 medical specialties including internal medicine, cardiovascular disease, interventional cardiology, vascular medicine and endovascular medicine and has authored over 50 peer-review articles, 6 book chapters and numerous abstracts. Dr. Klein is an active member and fellow iof both SCAI and the ACC. He is the current co-chair of the SCAI Simulation Committee and serves on the PAD, Early Career Development and Public Relations Committees. His research and clinical interests include peripheral arterial disease, endovascular revascularization/ limb salvage, and advanced coronary revascularization including rotational/orbital atherectomy and endovascular therapy for pulmonary embolism.

Dr. Llanos is an Interventional/Structural Cardiologist at Holy Cross Hospital in Fort Lauderdale Florida. He completed a fellowships in Interventional Cardiology at Massachusetts General Hospital. He did additional training in Advanced Coronary/ Structural Intervention at MGH. He completed his fellowship in Cardiology at Emory University. He completed Cardiolovascular basic science research fellowships, at both Emory University (Molecular mechanisms of ischemia/reperfusion injury) and University of Miami (Myocyte hypertrophy cell signaling). He is Co-Director of the Adult Congenital (ACHD) and Structural Heart Disease Program at Holy Cross Hospital, a program in collaboration with MGH/Harvard Medical School.
