Tarek Helmy, MD, FACC, FSCAI, is an interventional cardiologist at Saint Louis University School of Medicine and serves as the director of the Gerard Mudd Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory. Dr. Helmy completed his interventional training at Tufts University in Boston before joining Emory School of Medicine as a faculty. He then served as professor of medicine in the division of cardiology at the University Of Cincinnati College Of Medicine as well as medical director of the cath lab and the director of the interventional fellowship program, University Of Cincinnati College of Medicine. Special interests: complex coronary interventions, chronic total inclusions, and structural heart disease.
