This course is sold out. Inadequate bone volume is a common finding in dental implant reconstruction. This lecture will review evidence-based procedures available to the oral and maxillofacial surgeon to perform horizontal ridge preservation and augmentation.
Topics will include “open” grafting, ridge expansion and horizontal ridge augmentation using particulate graft with GBR/tenting screws, tunneling techniques, bone cores/blocks and titanium mesh. Case presentations and technique videos will include discussion of CBCT anatomic considerations, role of barriers and biologics, and materials utilized for the procedures.
There will be a refreshment break from 2:30 pm—3:00 pm.
