Join us at the American Visionary Art Museum (800 Key Highway, Baltimore) to experience the sights and wonders of creative, self-taught artistry as you sip and sample the flavors of Baltimore, network with conference participants, and support the ASHFoundation's innovation mission.
Nestled at the base of Baltimore's historic Federal Hill, the American Visionary Art Museum, with its iconic 55-foot-tall whirligig, is America's national repository for self-taught, innovative artistry.
You will enter our event through Shining Youth/Shining Walls, built by at-risk youth and part of the largest mosaic apprenticeship program in the nation. Our light fare reception in the beautiful Sculpture Barn and Garden gives way to a fascinating after-hours viewing of the first and second floor art galleries. From Baltimore's painted screens - a row house tradition since 1913 - to carved roots, to embroidered rags, from tattoos to toothpicks, experience the transformation of dreams, loss, hopes, and ideals into powerful - sometimes quirky - works of art.
The museum is walkable from the Baltimore Convention Center, or a short ride on the free circulator bus.
Tickets: $65 (Tickets are nonrefundable.) We are expecting this event to sell-out early. Plan ahead and register NOW. Add a ticket to your registration or call 877-585-6005.
