Commander (CDR) Indira Harris is a US Public Health Service (USPHS) Commissioned Officer, Licensed Clinical Social Worker, and Board Certified Diplomate, with over 17 years clinical, management, and leadership experience in various local and state settings in the State of Florida. Upon commissioning to the USPHS, she served at Fort Bragg Army Installation’s Womack Army Medical Center as a Deployment Care Management Supervisor and Officer-in-Charge of Fort Bragg’s 1st Embedded Behavioral Health Clinic. She transitioned to SAMHSA as a Public Health Advisor for the National Child Traumatic Stress Initiative, and is currently a Public Health Analyst for HRSA’s HIV/AIDS Bureau in Rockville, MD.
