Andrea Dakin, PhD, MA is currently the Senior Director of Program Development of the AIDS Foundation of Chicago (AFC), where she has worked since 2010. She leads the Program Development department, which works closely with the programs and policy department members to design new programs and initiatives in response to community need and available funding opportunities; these programs address HIV testing, linkage and retention to care, HIV/AIDS and homeless housing, prevention, education/advocacy programs, and AFC’s new MCO initiatives. She has more than 20 years’ experience designing, implementing and evaluating social service programs. Her background includes work in HIV/AIDS services, homeless and housing programs, and domestic violence.
