Diana Rowan is an associate professor and MSW Program Director in the School of Social Work at The University of North Carolina at Charlotte. Her research agenda focuses on HIV prevention with sexual and gender minorities. She was the principal investigator on a $1.1 million study on accessing young Black MSM and Transwomen for HIV prevention through social networking, founded by the CDC through the Minority AIDS Research Initiative (MARI). She is also the editor of a text entitled, Social work with HIV: A case-based guide.
