Patricia Aguado, LCSW, PhD, is a bilingual/bicultural Clinical Social Worker with over 15 years of experience in the field of HIV/AIDS, specializing in HIV+ Spanish speaking populations. She has experience in conducting mental health and substance use assessments, individual therapy, peer and student supervision, and evaluation of HIV training programs. In 2012, she became the project director of Proyecto Promover, a HRSA-SPNS project focused on engaging and retaining Mexicans in HIV care. She is currently an Assistant Professor at Northeastern Illinois University in Chicago.
