Dr. Hudson Garrett currently serves as an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Medicine in the Division of Infectious Diseases at the University of Louisville School of Medicine and the Presidential Advisor of the Vascular Access Certification Corporation Board of Directors. He has completed the Johns Hopkins Fellows Program in Hospital Epidemiology and Infection Control and the CDC Fundamentals of Healthcare Epidemiology program. Dr. Garrett serves He was recognized as a "Who’s Who in Infection Prevention" by Infection Control Magazine. Dr. Garrett recently served as the subject matter expert for the Medscape CME Series sponsored by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Dr. Garrett's passion is fostering the advancement of evidence-based practices for infection prevention and control and vascular access across interprofessional boundaries globally. He is a Distinguished Fellow and Practitioner in the National Academies of Practice.
