Bonnie Smith RN, has been a Nurse for 42 years with 28 years specialized in Vascular Access. She was the manager of the Vascular Access team at Holmes Regional Medical Center for over 20 years. She is credentialed with the Infusion Nurses Society and the Association for Vascular Access. She also has her Medical Surgical Board Certification with the American Nurses Credentialing Center.
Ms. Smith is past-president and current secretary of the Spacecoast Chapter of the Infusion Nurses Society. She has been an avid lecturer for many nursing seminars and presentations, including national INS meetings.
Ms. Smith has been published in peer-reviewed journals such as the Journal of Infusion Nursing, Nursing ADVANCE for Nurses and Infection Control Today.
Ms. Smith earned a nursing degree from Mercy School of Nursing in Charlotte, North Carolina in 1976.
