Location: C160
Presentation CE Credits: 1

You’re a leader…so now what? Are you prepared to handle the challenges associated with being a leader of people? Have you been given the tools you need to be successful as a supervisor or manager? This session will help prepare clinicians who are now, or soon will be, in a supervisory, managerial or other leadership position with the core skills necessary for being a leader of people. Whether you are moving from “peer to boss” or seeking to advance your career, leadership skills are essential to your success. Leadership is more than a title, and certainly more than managing schedules and workloads. Being a successful leader of people begins with learning how to motivate, inspire, and guide. It requires skills such as setting expectations, providing feedback, coaching, and mentoring. During this session, we will talk about relevant, applicable, leadership tactics to utilize in your current or future role as a leader of people!
