This session is designed to aide those vascular access specialists interested in developing an ultrasound guided peripheral IV program outside of the vascular access team. Topics discussed will include education strategies, competence assessment and quality metrics to guarantee demonstrable value to the facility and the highest quality of care to the patient.

Clint Latham has been a Registered Nurse since 2008 and a vascular access nurse since 2012. His experience includes hospital based and mobile outsourced vascular access services. He currently leads the Saint Thomas Vascular Access Services which provides care for 8 hospitals in Middle Tennessee.
