Co-founder, Lead Medical Advisor
Dr. Brian D’Anza, MD, MA is the co-founder of the telehealth startup SmartDocMD and is an assistant professor at University Hospitals - Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine. He is currently acting as SmartDocMD's lead medical advisor as it begins to expand services. He has utilized and been party to telemedicine through his clinical practice at several forward-thinking academic health care institutions over the last 8 years including University Hospitals - Cleveland Medical Center, the Cleveland Clinic Foundation and Geisinger Health System. He is currently involved in telemedicine initiatives within his clinical practice and works with the University Hospitals telehealth advisory board. He strives to be at the forefront of clinical innovation with hopes to advance the field of telemedicine to improve access, efficiency and affordability for all.
