Dr. Matthew Muller practices Emergency Medicine in Dallas, Texas. He is the Chief Operating Officer at Acute Care Transitions, and leads the organization’s telehealth initiatives. Preceding his career as a physician, Dr. Muller spent ten years as an astronaut training lead and operations manager at NASA, including early validation of space station telemedicine protocols. He attended the University of Texas Medical Branch School of Medicine in Galveston, prior to serving as a U.S. Navy Undersea Medical Officer and Naval Flight Surgeon. He completed residency training in Emergency Medicine, as well as fellowship training in Surgical Critical Care at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center. In addition to his experience with the practice of medicine in atypical environments, Dr. Muller has a special interest in the use of technology to strengthen physician-patient relationships and in improving diagnostic accuracy.
