In this interactive session, 4-5 challenging lymphoma cases will be presented, with audience participation as well as input from a multidisciplinary panel of speakers regarding management approaches. Cases will illustrate the application of new knowledge from recent trials, acceptable variations in practice, how to apply current evidence in practice and host and disease factors that require individualization of treatment (e.g. the when treatment goal should be curative or palliative).
Learning Objectives:
- Describe practice management of actual cases of Hodgkin''s and non-Hodgkin''s Lymphoma with emphasis on patient assessment, and the utilization of imaging to determine the role of radiation therapy.
- Identify factors contributing to tradeoffs between lymphoma cure and late effects of treatment.
- Define the role of radiation therapy in management of chemosensitive and chemorefractory recurrent Hodgkin''s and non-Hodgkin''s lymphoma.
