Japanese for "chit-chat," PechaKucha is a presentation technique in which 20 slides are presented for 20 seconds each. Started in Japan in 2003, PechaKucha is gaining in popularity, with over 900 cities hosting PechaKucha nights. Companies are also adopting PechaKucha as a way to disseminate information. This unique method of presentation drives a concise focused message that can be beneficial for both presenter and audience. This session will explain the philosophy behind PechaKucha, how the technique may be appropriately deployed, and give best practices in creating and delivering a PechaKucha. As an added bonus, the speaker will present his "A History of Quality" PechaKucha, which has received standing ovations in the past.
