Meeting saturation, hidden factories generating charts, graphs, and data, abstract OPEX tools, and overwhelmed leaders ... Sound familiar? It may be time for a business bootcamp. The past few years have given rise to some disturbing trends within the business landscape. We have all seen countless presentations with familiar strategic pictures and representations of foundational bricks, pillars of priorities, and roofs of aspirational visions as leaders unfold their transformation and continuous improvement initiatives. In the wake of these "Caesar's Palace" pictorials, we haven't seen or heard real dialog around the true pain points that many organizations experience. If you look closely, these pictorial representations of tools and strategies are filled with fault lines and structural cracks; teams today lack the habit, discipline, structure, and leadership to truly embrace, deploy, and sustain most of the overly prescriptive continuous improvement tools organizations have thrust upon them. This lively and interactive session aims to amend this issue, offering all of those who attend the chance to discover a process-driven approach to organizational transformation.

Carolann Wolfgang has a Ph.D. in natural resources management from The Australian National University and a bachelor of arts degree in geology (honors) and environmental science from the University of Pennsylvania. She is a multidisciplinary practitioner and is cross-certified in the areas of safety, quality, and LEED. She is trained in collaborative negotiation and through Mediators Without Borders as an alternate dispute resolution specialist. Wolfgang has worked across the United States, Australia, Caribbean, and Europe for a variety of organizations.
