This session covers eight factors that must be understood for effective process risk management, including: hazard identification, assessment of the risk level associated with the hazard, and treatment of the risk, including controls to reduce the probability or the severity of the risk. The factors are addressed with sufficient specificity to enable their direct implementation in the workplace.

Aimee Siegler is the Global Compliance Manager for Benchmark Electronics, a contract manufacturer. Prior to accepting this role, she was in Supplier Development for 8 years, with job titles including Material Quality Engineer and Supplier Development Engineer. Aimee is an ASQ Fellow and past Director at Large for the ASQ Board of Directors. She has held volunteer roles in sections, divisions, and with the technical communities council. She holds ASQ CMQ/OE, CQA, CQIA and CMI certifications, and is also a certified Provisional Auditor. She has a Sustainable Business focused MBA from Green Mountain College, a B.S. in Technology Management from Herzing College, an A.S. in Mechanical and Electronics Drafting from Herzing College, and a B.A. in Communication and Expression from The Pennsylvania State University. Aimee and her husband Ron have two children, Matthew (16) and Hannah (14). When not volunteering for ASQ, Aimee is a Girl Scout Leader, and enjoys knitting, and watching her kids run (Matthew) and dance (Hannah).
