Lou Johnson brings 30 years of process engineering and statistical consulting experience to his role as trainer/consultant for JMC Data Experts Inc. As a Master Black Belt for Corning, Inc., he led a Six Sigma deployment that significantly increased productivity and reduced costs. Since then, he has consulted and trained with over 100 companies from Arrow to Xerox with a focus on biotechnology and medical device companies such as Becton-Dickenson, Cubist Pharmaceuticals, Intuitive Surgical, and Johnson & Johnson. He is the author of over 75 training manuals, journal articles, and conference presentations on Lean Six Sigma, Design of Experiments, Quality Tools and Statistical Methods for engineers. Johnson earned bachelor of science degrees in chemistry, education, and chemical engineering from the University of Illinois. After 10 years of manufacturing experience, he returned to school to complete his master of science in statistics from Pennsylvania State University.
