Mining comparative plant data in Gramene

Sunday, July 15
11:10 AM - 12:30 PM

Gramene (http://www.gramene.org) is an integrated resource for comparative functional analysis in plants, currently hosting 53 sequenced reference genomes, and pathways for 75 plants species. Its search capabilities and interactive views facilitate visualization of gene features, gene neighborhoods, phylogenetic trees, genetic variation, gene expression profiles, pathways, cross-references, and pathways. Gramene simplifies traversing across plant species, as well as comparative visualization and analysis, via powerful phylogenetic approaches, including protein-based gene family trees with stable IDs, whole-genome DNA alignments, and orthology-based pathway projections.
