Plant Metabolic Network (PMN), a Unified Resource for Plant Metabolism

Sunday, July 15
11:10 AM - 12:30 PM

We develop computational pipelines for genome-wide metabolic enzyme and pathway prediction. Using the pipeline we predicted the metabolic networks of 76 sequenced genomes in the green plant lineage. We have also developed an extensively curated pan-plant database called PlantCyc that catalogs a comprehensive set of known plant biochemical pathways involved in primary and specialized metabolism. Users can display and examine “omics” data on pathways, to compare metabolism between species, and to BLAST against specific enzyme datasets.
