The U.S. National Science Foundation continuously evaluates its programs, priorities, and resource allocations. The Foundation is currently considering its plant science portfolio, particularly in light of new programmatic opportunities related to the Rules of Life and the Ten Big Ideas, which were unveiled in 2016 by NSF Director France Córdova as part of a long-term research agenda. In particular, modifications are being considered for the Plant Genome Research Program (PGRP). Come and participate in a discussion with agency officials about the future of plant science support at NSF and how you can contribute.
