Saddle up for an exciting day of cycling throughout the Schuylkill River Heritage Area! Experience unique and diverse cultural landscapes firsthand as we ride the Schuylkill River Trail from Center City to Valley Forge. Participate and learn as we interpret complex landscapes and places that have shaped our national identity.

Dr. Timothy J. Cassidy is a Principal at Bernardon, an architecture, interior design, and landscape architecture firm with offices located in Philadelphia, West Chester, Pennsylvania and Wilmington, Delaware. As an architectural and urban designer, landscape architect, and certified planner, Timothy’s body of professional knowledge spans the full breadth of the built and natural environment. His theoretical and research interests include urbanism, architectural regionalism, place identity, cultural landscapes and technology ethics.

Mark W. Heeb, ASLA

Principal

Mr. Heeb has over 30 years of experience in business development, project management, landscape architecture, and civil engineering. As a Principal of BL Companies, he has been involved in managing land development projects including site analysis, master planning, Federal/State/local permitting, site design, contract documents, and construction administration. In addition, Mr. Heeb oversees proposal and contract negotiation, critical path scheduling, managing budgets, and managing a diverse group of design professionals. He has expertise in design and construction management of commercial and industrial development, renewable energy design and construction, college campuses, parks, and historic preservation projects.
