Dan Gottlieb oversees strategic planning, design, and development for the North Carolina Museum of Art and its 164-acre campus. In his role with the Museum he directs architecture and landscape design, as well as the Park’s sculpture program. Dan serves on the Boards of Raleigh’s Dix Park and Center for Craft, Creativity and Design; is a recipient of the Lifetime Achievement Award from North Carolina State University College of Design. Publications include contributions to Landscapes for Art, Redrawing the Boundaries: Toward a New Museum Campus; Sustainable Museums: Strategies for the 21st Century, and The User Perspective on Twenty-First Century Museums.
