Dr. Tribble has over 30 years experience in the pharmacy automation industry, has widely published and presented on automation, is a featured blogger on automation topics for ASHP Connect, and has 30 patents in the area of health-system pharmacy automation, primarily in the sterile dose preparation area. He is a past President of the Illinois Council of Health-System Pharmacists, and a past chair for the executive committee of the ASHP Section on Pharmacy Informatics and Technology. He and Mr. Siska co-authored the technology briefing paper for the November 2010 Pharmacy Practice Model Initiative. Over the last two years, Dr. Tribble has spend considerable time researching methods to reduce the number of systems a pharmacist must maintain with new or changed drug information, including investigations of the use of RxNorm for this purpose. Dr. Tribble received his Pharm. D., from the University of the Pacific, Stockton, CA, in 1974, completed an ASHP-accredited hospital pharmacy residency at The Moses H. Cone Memorial Hospital, in Greensboro, NC in 1975, and was designated a Fellow of the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists in 2011.

    Claire Knight, PharmD is a Sr. Clinical Marketing Manager of clinical applications in Medication Management Solutions for BD. Dr. Knight has over 10 years’ experience in the medical device industry with experiences ranging from customer implementations to product development and clinical thought leadership. Prior to joining the medical device industry, Dr. Knight was a clinical pharmacy specialist in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit at Cook Children’s Medical Center in Fort Worth Texas. She received her PharmD degree from the University of Rhode Island. She completed a pharmacy practice residency at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center and a pediatric specialty residency at the Medical University of South Carolina.
