Dr. Barbara Giacomelli, PharmD, MBA, FASHP is currently an AVP Advisory/Revenue Consulting with McKesson RxO with 30 years’ experience in health system pharmacy. She began her career by completing an ASHP PGY1 Residency at Inspira Healthcare in Vineland, NJ and has held various pharmacy management and leadership positions in community, academic medical centers and health systems in the Philadelphia and Southern New Jersey, including Kennedy Health System, Main Line Health System and Shore Medical Center, prior to joining McKesson Health Systems as a consultant. Throughout her career Dr. Giacomelli has facilitated and led numerous projects related to automation, technology, workflow optimization, centralization of medication distribution, supply chain management, ambulatory pharmacy and clinical pharmacy services. She is a Fellow of ASHP and Past Chair of the ASHP Section of Informatics and Technology. Dr. Giacomelli received her B.S. in Pharmacy from the University of Connecticut where she was selected as 2014 Alumni of the Year, PharmD from the University of Colorado and MBA in Healthcare Administration from Widener University. Dr. Giacomelli has spoken nationally, participated in numerous webinars and published on a variety of topics. She is also a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt and a Scrum Product Owner.

Dr. Borky spent 25 years in the U.S. Air Force in a wide variety of R&D, Education, Program Management, and Logistics assignments. He retired in the rank of Colonel in 1992 as the Commander of Rome Laboratory. His civilian career includes five aerospace companies and spans activities in air and space electronics technology, system architecture, directed energy, intelligence and sensor systems, and other areas. He served for seven years on the Air Force Scientific Advisory Board, three as the Vice Chairman. His awards include the Air Force Decoration for Exceptional Civilian Service and the Air Force Legion of Merit with oak leaf cluster. He is an Associate Fellow of the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA)and a Life Senior Member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE).

    Alicia Williams is a specialist in the use of technology to optimize Pharmacy Inventory Management for hospitals. Throughout her career, she has used her unique perspective and knowledge base to develop solutions to help hospitals maximize cost savings and provide quality care for patients. Alicia began her career in Pharmacy Practice at the VA Hospital and at Kingsbrook Jewish Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY, where she first entered the field of Pharmacy Informatics. In her next Informatics role, as a Corporate Pharmacy Manager at New York-Presbyterian Hospital, she led several successful Pharmacy Automation projects and played a key role in the automation of Drug Diversion Monitoring for the hospital’s campuses. In 2016, after a long career in Health Systems Pharmacy and IT Project Management, Alicia launched FullSight Health Analytics, a software company specializing in cost containment solutions for hospital pharmacies.
    A Brooklyn, NY native, Alicia graduated with a BS in Pharmacy at the top of her class from Long Island University’s Brooklyn Campus and received an MBA from Baruch College’s Zicklin School of Business in New York City. She is an active member of the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP), the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS) and the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE).
