Virginia Polytechnic and State University
I am Nasrin Alamdari, PhD student at Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University. I am currently involved in NSF project to evaluate the impacts of climate change on BMPs' resiliency especially in urban areas. My research interest lies on development and application of water quality models
and decision support systems (DSS) at different scales varying from a small urban catchment to a large basin. In particular, I am interested in evaluating the impacts of non-stationary events such as land-use/land cover (LULC) and climate variability on water quality. I am also interested in making more sustainable decisions for evaluation of best management practices (BMPs).
