Toby Hunemuller, PE

Mr. Hunemuller has been working at the Corps of Engineers, Rock Island District for over fifteen years. Toby earned a B.S. Civil and Environmental Engineering from the University of Iowa in 2002 and M.S. Civil and Environmental Engineering with an emphasis in Water Resources from the University of Iowa in 2010. Mr. Hunemuller spent the first seven years working as a project engineer for several large navigation and flood risk management projects before transitioning into water resources. Mr. Hunemuller has been the Chief of the Hydrologic Engineering Section since August 2010. He is responsible for overseeing water resources related projects including watershed planning and risk communication, levee and dam breach analysis studies, environmental restoration projects, and floodplain modeling and mapping projects.
