Maura K. Boswell, P.E., Ph.D. Candidate, Old Dominion University
Maura Boswell is a Coastal Engineer with a B.S. in Ocean Engineering from Florida Institute of Technology and an M.S. in Coastal and Oceanographic Engineering from the University of Florida. Currently, she is pursuing a doctoral degree at Old Dominion University and her research is supported by Virgina Sea Grant as part of the 2017-2019 Graduate Research Fellowship program. She previously worked in the private sector as a Project Manager and Project Engineer on a wide range of projects involving coastal processes, shore protection, and marina design. She is on the Board of Directors for the American Shore and Beach Presevation Association (ASBPA) and also serves as the president of the Central East Coast Chapter of ASBPA.
