Anna Johnson is a coastal engineer with Moffatt & Nichol with 7+ years of experience working on projects in Louisiana and California. After obtaining her Masters Degree in Coastal and Marine Engineering and Management (CoMEM) from TU Delft, The Netherlands, she worked for the Louisiana Coastal Protection and Restoration Authority as a coastal engineer helping to implement projects along Louisiana's challenging and dynamic coastline. She later began working with Moffatt & Nichol as a coastal engineering consultant in their northern California office of Walnut Creek. There, she has conducted coastal engineering analyses, design calculations for both coastal structures and soft engineering solutions, and numerical modeling of coastal processes along the west coast of North America from British Columbia to Mexico. She has a working knowledge of the MIKE by DHI coastal modeling software, Matlab, ArcGIS, and AutoCAD Civil 3D that she uses as tools for determining solutions to problems.
