Jeff Waldner is a Physical Scientist/Oceanographer with Interior’s Marine Minerals Program, Bureau of Ocean Energy Management. His 30 years of experience includes managing scientific research for land and marine geophysical operations with the N.J. Geological Survey and leading team projects to identify some 400 million cubic yards of sand in approximately 32 shoals offshore N.J. He has authored over 25 papers covering topics in marine aggregate resources, groundwater resources, and engineering geology, holds a B.S. degree in Geology from Allegheny College and a M.S. in Engineering Geology from Drexel University, and is a licensed Professional Geologist in Pennsylvania.
