Arun Kamath is a Post Doc at NTNU Trondheim, Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering. He obtained his PhD with the defense of the thesis titled "CFD based Investigation of Wave-Structure Interaction and Hydrodynamics of an Oscillating Water Column Device" in 2015 from NTNU. He is an alumus of the Erasmus Mundus Masters Programme -Coastal and Marine Engineering and Management (CoMEM) with studies at TU Delft, NTNU and UPC Barcelona.
He works with the open source CFD model REEF3D. His research interests include: CFD modeling, Regular and Irregular wave kinematics, wave generation and propagation, Non-breaking and breaking wave hydrodynamics, Wave energy, Floating bodies in waves, Coastal engineering and management and High performance computing (HPC)
