Gosse Jan Steendam MSC is Business Development Executive at INFRAM HYDREN within the consultancy business INFRAM International b.v. He has over 20 years of experience with coastal structures and coastal zone management. Gosse Jan is an expert on wave overtopping and grass sod pull tests and a senior consultant on coastal structures, dikes and revetments.
He has worked in the fields of Coastal Structures, System Analysis and Asset Management. He participated in many (international) projects like the Dutch SBW/WBI-program (Strength and loads on Flood Defences) the EU projects THESEUS (innovative coastal zone management) and CLASH (development of a generic prediction method for overtopping). Also he has been involved in many dike reinforcement projects from early planning to completion of construction.
Gosse Jan has been project manager for all tests with hydraulic simulators by Infram (Wave Overtopping Simulator, Wave Run up Simulator and Wave Impact Generator). He has been member of the research team to develop the Hydraulic Overload Method. Also he invented togehter with prof. dr. Van der Meer the Grass Sod Pull device.
On top of his analytical skills and his technical knowledge he is very much experienced in public and administration business in the field of infrastructure.
