Utilizing the knowledge to action cycle, presenters will demonstrate how Children’s Specialized Hospital developed a supervision model that is tailored to the unique needs of the organization. This is an employee driven model that can be used by any member of an organization, regardless of title. It provides opportunities for professional growth, clinical growth and leadership development. The model is designed to be flexible to meet individual needs and empower staff across all levels to work toward career advancement. This supervision model parallels in structure our framework for frequency recommendations for our patients by providing the right care to the right patient at the right time, every time. This model focuses on providing the right resources to the right clinician at the right time. The primary categories of development seen in both the evidence and provided by our staff include: service excellence standards, staff empowerment, growth and retention, clinical skills, leadership development, evidence and data driven care and financial viability. Sample resources and employee examples of how the model was applied will be discussed
