Evaluation and Treatment of Pediatric Mild Traumatic Brain Injury and Concussion: Tools, Tips and Take-aways

We plan to deliver an up-to-date, evidence-based evaluation and treatment program for PT's who may treat patients after a concussion/mTBI in the outpatient setting, however may also see these kids in the school or rehab setting.

Jason A. Hugentobler, PT, DPT, SCS, CSCS is a PT at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center. He earned his DPT degree from University of Tennessee-Chattanooga. He completed the Sports Residency program at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital and earned his certified specialization in sports physical therapy from the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties. He currently serves as director of the sports residency program at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital, as well as adjunct professor in the physical therapy department at Mount Saint Joseph University. Jason’s clinical and research interests are related to concussions.

Gretchen Mueller, PT, DPT

Physical Therapist II
Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center

Gretchen Mueller received her Master in Physical Therapy from Ohio State University in 2005, followed by her Doctor of Physical Therapy from Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions in 2011. She has served on the CCHMC OTPT High Risk Infant Clinical Specialty Committee since 2009. Gretchen has presented multiple educational sessions on the high risk infant locally. She is also certified in vestibular rehabilitation, completing the APTA’s Vestibular Rehabilitation competency course in 2011, and the advanced competency course in 2014. Gretchen has provided multiple learning opportunities through professional lectures whose audiences have included PT’s, OT’s, physicians, audiologists, and athletic trainers.
