Terra Cotta is one of the oldest ornamental building materials and has been used on many of Buffalo’s iconic downtown buildings since th the 19th century. Join Preservation Buffalo Niagara as we see extraordinary examples like the Louis Sullivan Guaranty Building, the whimsical Electric Tower, and and the colorful Calumet Building. In addition, you will learn about the technology and methods used to preserve these terra cotta landmarks over the years.

Dress Code: Weather appropriate and walking shoes.

This course qualifies for HSW credit with AIA and RCEP.
