FS08 - Greatest Hits

Sunday, September 23
8:00 AM - 12:00 PM
CE: 4

Where else can you visit landmarks by Richardson, Sullivan, Wright, Upjohn, the Saarinens, Yamasaki, Stone, Rudolph, Burnham, Bunshaft, and the largest Olmsted-designed park system in the world in an afternoon? Local architect and preservationist Paul McDonnell will take you on an afternoon whirlwind tour that you will never forget. From the concrete and wood grain elevators that line the Buffalo River that inspired LeCorbusier to the recently rehabilitated National Historic Landmark Richardson Olmsted Campus, and the restored Frank Lloyd Wright Darwin D. Martin House, participants will see some of the most famous sites in the world and some of the most exciting current preservation projects anywhere.
