Do I need a passport? If you plan on attending the APT 50th Anniversary Party in Canada, you will need to show a valid passport. There is a workshop and other events that may be added in Canada, so it is reccommended you bring a valid passport with at least one blank page available. You can find more information here.

Who qualifies as a guest? A guest (spouse or companion) is someone who accompanies you to enjoy the visit to Buffalo, not to participate in Conference sessions nor earn continuing education credits
What does a guest registrant receive? Admission to the Opening Keynote, Exhibit Gala, access to refreshment breaks, plus the opportunity to purchase tickets for special events.
I’m a sponsor, how do I register? Use the registration code sent to you by APT. This will guarantee that you are registered at the complimentary or discounted rate promised.
I’m a speaker/session chair, how do I register? Use the registration code given to you by APT. This will guarantee that you are registered at the discounted rate promised.
What if I have to cancel my registration? Cancellations must be made in writing via email to registrar@apti.org or via fax to 217-529-7178.
If you cancel before midnight, August 1, 2018, APT will refund all but $25 of your registration fee.
If you cancel between August 1-22, APT will refund all but $100 of your registration fee.
If you cancel after August 22, APT will refund only up to $100.
No shows will not be refunded.
May I transfer my registration to someone else in the event I cannot attend? Yes. You can modify your registration online, including changing the name of the registrant, affiliation, etc. Retain your confirmation email for directions to make modifications.
Is there a group discount? No group discount is available.
What meals are provided? Your full Conference registration includes: Food served at the Exhibit Gala, continental breakfast (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday) and lunch (Monday), plus refreshment breaks.
Full day field session and workshop attendee registrations include continental breakfast and lunch on each day they meet.

Arriving The nearest major airport is the Buffalo Niagara International Airport (BUF / KBUF) and is approxitemately 9 miles from the conference hotel.
The Niagara Frontier Transit Authority (NFTA) runs an Airport-Downtown Express Shuttle. This shuttle runs non-stop service between the airport and Buffalo's central business district, making its first stop in front of the Hyatt Regency Buffalo. One-way fare (in most cases) is $2.50. Service runs weekdays, approximately every 30 minutes, during peak drive time. (Route 204)
How do I apply for CEs? Forms will be available onsite for AIA LUs, engineering PDHs and Canadian architect CEs.
Will you be providing a list of the conference attendees? Yes. A list of Conference registrants will be posted in the mobile app.
What is the dress code? Business casual for most events, casual attire for workshops, and casual attire with good walking shoes for field sessions.
