Thomas M. Shimshak, is an interventional cardiologist. He is a graudate of the Univeristy of Wisconsin-Madison. He received his Medical Degree, residency in Internal Medicine and Fellowship in Cardiovascular Disease at the Medical College of Wisconsin, Milwaukee. He completed an interventional fellowship at the Mid America Heart Insitute, St. Luke's Hospital, Kanas City, MO. He has practiced in Kansas City, MO, Cincinnati, OH, and Milwaukee, WI. He is currentlly in practice at the Florida Hospital Heartland Medical Center, Sebring. and is the Medical Director of the Heart and Vascular Center of the Florida Hospital.

Throughout his career, Dr. Shimshak has been an active clinical consultant and coronary and peripheral interventionist. His interests include contemporary coronary and vascular interventional therapies, clinical research and physician education and training. He is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology and the Society of Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions. He has been recognized as a "Best Doctors of America" and "Who's Who in America". He is a past recipient of the "C3 Lifetime Achievement Award".
