Dr. Rogers identified peripheral artery disease as a passion early in Cardiovascular Fellowship. He pursued extra training specific to vascular diseases outside of the heart at Massachusetts General Hospital. His practice at the University of Colorado for the past 7 years has focused on Vascular Medicine and Intervention, with a particular emphasis on limb salvage. He is currently involved in organizing systems of care for limb preservation and performing lower extremity revascularization procedures to prevent amputation. His research interests include defining the optimal medical therapy for prevention of cardiovascular events in PAD patients and participating in device trials for lower extremity revascularization. He is also the fellowship director for Vascular Medicine at the University of Colorado.
