This forum will offer a powerful, lively discussion on the importance of Black men and fathers voting and raising their voices as a political and community force. It will examine the historic role and challenges Black men face as voters - incarceration, mental health, fatherhood services and resources, and voter suppression. The panelists will include Civil Rights leaders and civic engagement organizations will provide a historic overview on the Black vote, key elections including the November mid-term elections, and voting rights for men. Finally, this panel will outline strategies on getting fathers and men to the polls in November.
