Workforce Development Librarian

Elizabeth supports libraries as active workforce development system participants at the local, state, and national levels through the Washington State Library, and as the original convener of the LibsWork State Library Agency group. Previous workforce development experience includes managing a BTOP grant for Puyallup Public Library, and as Research Librarian for WorkForce Central. Currently she sits on 2 committees involved in implementation of Washington's workforce development plan, 'Talent and Prosperity for All' and oversees statewide efforts for increasing digital literacy and inclusion, assessment and credit for non-traditional learning and involving libraries in local partnerships for High School 21+, adult basic education and literacy, and formal recognition of them as WorkSource Connection sites.
