State Librarian / Director
Utah State Library
Colleen Eggett is the State Librarian at Utah State Library. She has worked for 16 years at the State Library and also 10 years in public libraries including as a library director. She has presented in statewide, regional, national, and international forums. She views libraries as not only community builders but as platforms for creation and discovery. She’s excited to work with library leaders on the fundamental goal of improving society through literacy and reading, which of course includes e-books! She is convinced that publishers, e-book distributors, and libraries have symbiotic relationships in keeping e-books a vital part of mainstream America.
