J. Elizabeth Mills is a PhD Candidate at the University of Washington Information School. Her research explores how public library storytimes can be culturally inclusive learning spaces for children. She received her MLIS from the same institution in 2013. She is a published children's author and former children's book editor. Along with Kathleen Campana and Saroj Ghoting, she is co-author of "Supercharged Storytimes: An Early Literacy Planning and Assessment Guide," with ALA Editions. With Kathleen Campana, she is co-editor of "Create, Innovate, and Serve: A Radical Approach to Children's and Youth Programming," with ALA-Neal Schuman. She lives in Seattle, Washington.
