Brittany O'Neill has been the Humanities & Social Sciences Librarian at Louisiana State University Libraries since August 2017. She serves as the Research & Instruction Services liaison for English, History, Political Science, and Women's & Gender Studies. She received her MLIS with a certificate in Reference Services from Florida State University in 2016. Brittany O'Neill is currently the Vice President of the Louisiana Chapter of ACRL and will be assuming the role of President for 2018-2019. In addition, she will be serving as the Secretary of the ACRL Instruction Section's Peer-Reviewed Instructional Materials Online Committee for 2018-2019 and as a member of the RUSA History Section's Academic Librarians Committee for 2018-2020. Her research interests include information seeking behaviors of nontraditional students, undergraduates' understanding of library terminology, gamification, and library instruction management strategies. In her spare time, she is a competitive aerialist, fitness instructor, and avid NPR listener.
