The 2018 AIUM Convention has world-class speakers, top-notch content, and a sold-out exhibit hall. But that’s just the start. This year, we have revamped the entire event to give you more training, more access to experts, and more networking. And we reduced the registration fees. Here’s a quick look at what’s new for 2018:
Double the Learning Labs
Attendees told us they wanted more hands-on opportunities--so we doubled the number of hands-on Learning Labs. Our Learning Labs provide an up close and personal learning experience while earning CME credit. The following Learning Labs are tentatively scheduled:
Learning Labs require an additional fee and are limited to 50 attendees in order to maintain the best proctor-to-attendee ratio.
These sessions provide attendees the opportunity to meet with, and learn from, leading ultrasound authorities in small groups. Additional fee required; box lunch included. Sessions tentatively scheduled:
These unique educational experiences are like a conference-in-a-conference and are comprised of 2 or more consecutive sessions and may include didactic sessions, live demonstrations, and/or hands-on learning. Preliminary Concentrated Tracks include:
Session lengths are 3 hours to 7.5 hours. Additional fees may apply.
Preconvention Postgraduate Courses
Two preconvention postgraduate courses will be offered on Saturday, March 24. Additional fees apply.

Exhibit Hall Scavenger Hunt
The 2018 AIUM Exhibit Hall is going to be full of excitement with our first-ever scavenger hunt! Managed and maintained through the Convention app, several prizes will be awarded upon completion of the game. A grand prize winner will be announced Tuesday afternoon.
Join exhibiting companies over breakfast to discuss topics that will help you improve patient care and health outcomes. Symposia are non-CME and the AIUM is not responsible for the content presented. Check daily schedule for availability.
The AIUM has added 2 networking receptions to the convention schedule. Plan to meet up with colleagues, explore the latest technology, and ask questions you may have during these events on the Exhibit Hall floor. Drink tickets provided.
